Entry will be at the back from Darling Street
You’ll be lifting at RealFITT Strength & Conditioning Studio in Mitchell.
Important: Please note entry into the venue is off Darling Street, which is the back of the studio.
Nestled in Canberra’s north, you’ll be lifting at a facility that boasts:
- A centre-stage lifting platform, so you’ll take the spotlight for each lift!
- Fully equipped strength and conditioning studio
- Separate warm up and competition areas
- Coffee carts and food vans available on-site during the competition
- Showers and toilets on-site
Rules
The Australian Powerlifting Alliance is thrilled to welcome powerlifters from all federations to the Australian Masters Games.! This event is sanctioned under the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF), and IPF technical rules apply.
As part of these regulations, competitors are required to hold an APA membership. To make participation more accessible, we’re offering a special reduced membership fee of just $30 for this event.

The competition will be conducted under the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) Technical Rules in force at the time of competition. Please refer to: https://www.powerlifting.sport/rules/codes/info/technical-rules to obtain a copy of the most recent rulebook.
All athletes are to wear IPF approved attire from the IPF Approved List in force at the time of the competition. Please refer to: https://www.powerlifting.sport/rules/codes/info/approved-list to obtain a copy of the most recent approved list.
Both the technical rules and IPF approved list are subject to change. Athletes should refer to the IPF website to confirm there have been no changes to either document that impact on their participation.

Non-Competing Officials
Should a Competitor’s coach be involved in an official capacity, they will need to register as a Non-Playing Official in the registration portal and pay the required fee to obtain their accreditation for the event.
