Additional Information

  • Ni Bonchi Club will run a social dinner from 6:15pm on Friday 17 October, open to all Judo AMG entrants and their families
  • Weigh in will be Friday from 4:30 – 6pm at Vikings Club Room (Address TBC). For those unable to make Friday, the weigh in will be 8am-9am on Saturday (at the venue).
  • Participants are required to bring their Judo Australia Ltd or International Judo Federation body
    membership record to the competition and weigh-in as evidence of their insurance coverage.
  • Participants must bring their AMG accreditation to the venue at all times, including weigh-in.
  • Participants must have a grade of 3rd kyu (green belt) or over, recognised by Judo Australia.
  • As per the Judo Australia rules:
    • Participants must have clean and compliant blue and white judogis;
    • Female participants must wear a white non-transparent t-shirt.

Ni Bonchi Judo Club can combine an age and/or weight category if the number of participants in a category is not sufficient.
Contest duration is 3 minutes for age categories under 60 years and 2.5 minutes for age categories 60 years and over.

ACT Judo and Ni Bonchi will also host an ACT Inter-club Tournament and welcome the Judo AMG applicants to enter. Details to be provided separately to entrants. (If interested please tick the box while registering).

Rules

The competition will be conducted under Judo Australia’s Sporting Code (February 2025).
