Age Requirements

Age determined at 31 December 2023
Minimum age 30 years (Women), 35 years (Men)

Age Groups

11 Aside – Men: 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+
11 Aside – Women: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+

Divisions

11 Aside – All divisions will be capped at 8 teams per division, 4 teams minimum per division to conduct competition

Minimum Squad Size Requirements

Minimum: 11 Aside (11)

Maximum: 11 Aside (20),

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of teams required to conduct competition: 4 teams

Additional Information

• Teams must bring at least one non-playing official with them
• Sport fee includes referee cost for participants
• Individual Entries will be accommodated if possible

Player Age Dispensation

Participants must be age eligible according to the age categories stipulated. The following age dispensation rulings are available to teams:

Outfield players

• A team may register a maximum of two underage players in the age categories listed below. The players are permitted to be 2 years below the minimum age group.
  • Female 35+
  • Female 40+
  • Female 45+
  • Female 50+
  • Female 55+
  • Female 60+
  • Male 35+
  • Male 40+
  • Male 45+
  • Male 50+
  • Male 55+
  • Male 60+
• Teams in the Female 30+  age category must comply with the standard minimum age and are not eligible for any dispensation rulings.

Age dispensation standards (outfield players) – Male:

• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 33+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Male 35+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 38+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Male 40+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 43+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Male 45+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 48+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Male 50+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 53+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Male 55+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 58+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Male 60+ group.

Age dispensation standards (outfield players) – Female:

• No age dispensation available for the Female 30+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 33+ as of the 31 December 2023 in the Female 35+ group
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 38+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Female 40+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 43+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Female 45+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 48+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Female 50+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 53+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Female 55+ group.
• A team may register a maximum of two players that are 58+ as of 31 December 2023 in the Female 60+ group.

Goalkeepers

• Goalkeepers are granted an age exemption and can be 5 years below the minimum age requirement, except in the youngest male and female categories where they must be the minimum age to qualify (30+ female, 35+ male).
• Goalkeepers cannot during any match participate as an outfield player if under age.
