Qualifying

All entrants will be required to complete a minimum of 9 games (3 squads, 1 each of singles, doubles and teams) to complete an All Events total. Additional squads can be nominated and a bowler’s highest appearance in each single, doubles and teams will count towards their All Events score. Each championship category will be broken up into the following age groups; 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, 75+ and PWD (persons with a disability, all ages). Each defined age group or grade will be conducted in the following categories:

  • Male All Events
  • Male Singles
  • Male Doubles
  • Male Team of 4
  • Female All Events
  • Female Singles
  • Female Doubles
  • Female Team of 4
  • Mixed Doubles
  • Mixed Team of 4

The PWD / disabilities grade will be conducted in the following categories:

  • Mixed All Events
  • Mixed Singles
  • Mixed Doubles
  • Mixed Team of 4

Male, female and mixed divisions will be conducted based on scratch scores. The mixed disabilities division will be handicapped at 90% of 10 pins above the highest entering average across all age grades for disabilities entries. Disability bowlers will be required to provide evidence of their highest league average over 18 or more games as at 30 June 2025, this average will be used to determine their handicap. Grade allocation for Doubles & Teams will be calculated by the age of all bowlers in the event added together and then divided by the number of bowlers (resulting average age will be rounded up where required to form a whole number).
