**NOTE: VACT have introduced a mandatory $20 insurance for all Masters volleyball players. This fee is separate for Beach and Indoor Volleyball and covers the entire duration of each sport. It is required in order for players to compete and be insured.

Age Requirements

Age determined at 31 December 2025
Minimum age 30 years

Age Groups

Female: 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
Male: 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+
Mixed: 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+

Squad Sizes

Minimum number of competitors per team: Beach Fours – 4 per team, Beach Pairs – 2 per team

Divisions

Beach Fours Mixed – 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+

Men’s Pairs Division 1 & 2- 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+

Women’s Pairs Division 1 & 2 – 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+

Note: If there are insufficient entries in an age group, they will be combined with another age group at the sport convenors discretion.

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 6 Teams

Additional Information

Competitors are required to be members of the respective Volleyball State Association that are aligned with Volleyball Australia.
A 1st referee and scorer are required from the duty team. Referees MAY be provided for finals matches but all teams must be prepared to undertake duty responsibilities for any match.
Competitors who are not members of their respective state associations, will need to sign up for a short term VACT membership prior to the commencement of the event. A link will be added here once it is active. Additional Fees apply.
Mixed Fours require a minimum of 1 per gender to be on the court at all times.

Steps to Register:

1. Visit the registration link above.
2. Fill in your personal details.
3. Select Temporary Membership.
4. Choose Beach Volleyball.
5. Complete the registration by making the payment.

*Participants who are already Volleyball ACT Members do not need to take the AMG25 Membership.
