Want to gain hands-on experience at one of Australia’s largest multi-sport events? The 20th Australian Masters Games is offering three exciting internships in the lead-up to and during the Games in Canberra, 18–25 October 2025.

This is a great opportunity for students or early-career professionals looking to grow their skills in sports, events, or communications.

Sports Assistant Intern

Work alongside the Sport Coordinator to deliver smooth competition experiences across multiple venues. Tasks include results entry, signage setup, dispute handling and supporting convenors. A great fit for someone with sport admin or event experience.

Operations Assistant Intern

Support logistics, pack and deliver event materials, assist at accreditation and help keep the Games running behind the scenes. Great for someone practical, reliable, and ready to pitch in. A full driver’s licence is required.

Marketing & Communications Intern

Help bring the Games to life across social media, EDMs, websites and more. You’ll support storytelling, interview participants, and help run the media centre during the Games. Ideal for those with strong writing skills, an eye for content, and a passion for sport or events.
