Softball Ready to Shine at 2025 Australian Masters Games in Canberra

Softball officially announced as the first confirmed sport for the 2025 Australian Master's Games

By Shaun Carroll, Territory Operations Manager, Softball ACT

As the Territory Operations Manager of Softball ACT, I am proud to announce that softball will once again be a centrepiece at the 2025 Australian Masters Games, which are returning to Canberra for the first time since 2003. From October 18 to 25, our softball community will come together at the international-standard Hawker complex for what promises to be an unforgettable week of competition and camaraderie.

Softball has consistently been one of the largest participated sports in the Masters Games, and 2025 will be no different. We are expecting players from all over Australia and beyond to gather in Canberra, drawn by the chance to not only compete but also reconnect with the broader softball community.

At Softball ACT, we are excited to showcase our world-class facilities at Hawker, which will provide an outstanding venue for the Games. The complex has hosted numerous high-level events, and we are confident it will offer the perfect stage for players to showcase their skills in a professional and welcoming environment.

For the softball community, the Australian Masters Games are more than just a competition. They offer a unique opportunity to bring players, coaches, and fans together, forging bonds that go beyond the field. This event is a celebration of the spirit and camaraderie that make our sport so special, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to Canberra for a week of shared passion and friendship.

As we prepare for the 2025 AMG, Softball ACT is committed to delivering an exceptional experience for all participants. We can’t wait to see the softball community come together, and we look forward to showing the nation what Canberra and our Hawker complex have to offer.

The Australian Masters Games will announce when ENTERIES WILL OPEN in due course. Follow the AMG social media channels or subscribe to the newsletter today.
