Age Requirements
Age determined at 31 December 2025
Minimum age 35 years
Canberra Racquet Club is proud to host padel as part of the 2025 Australian
Masters Games. Competition will take place across two age categories: 35+ and
45+. Should entry numbers in either category be low, categories may be
combined to ensure a vibrant and competitive event.
Event Categories:
● Men’s Doubles 35+
● Women’s Doubles 35+
● Men’s Doubles 45+
● Women’s Doubles 45+
● Mixed Doubles 35+
All matches will be played in doubles format. Players can enter either the
Men’s Doubles or Women’s Doubles event for a fee of $90 per player (inclusive
of GST). Those wishing to also compete in Mixed Doubles can do so for an
additional $50 per player (inclusive of GST). For participants entering the Men’s
or Women’s Doubles events, a minimum of two matches is guaranteed, with a
consolation draw available for first-round main draw losses (note: consolation
draws are not available for Mixed Doubles).
Players without a partner are welcome—our team will assist in pairing
individuals with others also seeking a partner.
The final tournament format and scheduling will be announced two weeks
prior to the event and will be based on entry numbers. We look forward to
welcoming players for an exciting few days of padel competition in the capital.

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 128
Minimum number of participants required to conduct an age group (without merging): 5

If you cannot still find a partner or team the organising committee will do their best to assist you
Additional Information
- There can be a maximum of 32 participants for each category.

The competition will be conducted under the Padel Australia rules & regulations.
