Notice of Amendments to Australian Masters Games Agreements and Policies

Upcoming Changes
We’re making changes to certain agreements (listed below) and policies that govern your relationship with the Australian Masters Games. These changes will take place automatically on the corresponding effective date(s) shown below.
Actions Needed
Please carefully review the notices below and familiarise yourself with the upcoming changes. Otherwise, no further action is needed from you. If you would prefer to decline such changes, then you will be required to withdraw your registration and request a refund prior to 31 December 2021 via the contact us form. In this instance, the administration fee will be waived and a refund processed within 30 days of request.
Amendments to the Registration Terms and Conditions
Effective: 7 December 2021
We are:
- Adding clauses 22 and 23 in line with the Western Australian State government’s Safe Transition Plan and associated proposed public health and social measures.
- Updating the dates noted in the document to reflect the revised registration entry periods and event dates.

Amendments to the Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective: 7 December 2021
We are:
- Removing mention of 2021 in line with the postponement of the Games to 2022.
- Clarifying that until 22 April 2022, should the AMG be cancelled due to the impacts of COVID-19 or government issued travel restrictions, controlled border arrangements and conditions of entry, a full refund will be granted by the Organiser.
- Clarifying that all refunds requested due to Government issued travel restrictions, as well as controlled border arrangements and conditions of entry up until 5.00pm (AWST) Friday 22 April 2022 will be granted by the Organiser.
- Updating the date that all refunds requested (regardless of reason) will be granted by the Organiser from 30 April 2021 to Friday 31 December 2021 in line with the postponement.
- Updating the dates that requests for refund may be considered at the discretion of the Organiser from 1 May to 10 September 2021 to 1 January to 25 March 2022 in line with revised registration entry periods.
- Updating the date from which requests for refunds received will only be considered under certain circumstances by the Organiser from Friday 10 September 2021 to Friday 25 March 2022 in line with revised registration entry periods.
- Updating the date that participant transfer of registrations will be accepted until, from Friday 10 September 2021 to Friday 25 March 2022 in line with revised registration entry periods.
