Celebrate the end of an incredible week at the official Games Closing Ceremony! This event is a time to relax, reflect, and farewell new friends and teammates. Join us for an evening of entertainment, celebration, and a fitting close to the 20th Australian Masters Games.

This event is open to anyone who has an official AMG Accreditation Pass. Family and friends are welcome to attend when accompanied by an AMG participant.

Official Timings for the Closing Ceremony

6pm – Gates open for participants with AMG Accreditation Passes

6pm – Live entertainment commences

7pm – Official closing of the Australian Masters Games

7:30pm – Live entertainment continues

10pm – Event concludes

What you can bring to the Closing Ceremony

• Warm clothes, the weather is expected to get down to 6 degrees after a sunny afternoon.
• Blankets, camping chairs or anything small to sit on the lawn. An array of picnic tables will be available to sit at.
• Food can be taken into the venue however no alcohol is allowed to be brought in.
• Medals if you want them engraved – $15 for each medal.
• Teammates and colleagues for a fun time!!

Shuttle Buses & Parking

Participants can access the FREE courtesy shuttle buses that will run on an express loop to the National Botanic Gardens from Platform 3 on Alinga St in Civic. Buses will commence from 5:45pm and run continuously based on demand throughout the evening. Buses will collect and drop off participants at both stops. The final bus will depart the National Botanical Gardens at 10:30pm.

There is parking at the National Botanical Gardens. Should participants drive, they are asked to park legally at all times. The use of taxi/uber is also highly recommended.
