Ten days until it's game on in Tassie

In just 10 days time the 16th Australian Masters Games will take over Tasmania's North West and kick off the week-long festival of sport. Now is the time to get Games ready and make sure you're prepared for the action packed week.

Start finalising plans and get ready for a devil of a time in Tassie.

Masters on the Wharf

On Thursday 19 and Friday 20 October, the wharf precinct, home of the accreditation centre, will be putting on a 'Masters on the Wharf' event which will showcase live music, entertainment and drinks in a pre-Games party.

Make plans to grab your accreditation early (click here for details) and stay around to enjoy the scenery on the banks of the Leven River with a cold drink while enjoying the music and ambiance.

Games Opening

Participants and locals of Tasmania’s North West will open the 16th Australian Masters Games with a food and wine festival at Devonport’s Roundhouse Park on Saturday, 21 October as a part of the month-long Devonport Food and Wine Festival.
At 4pm participants and volunteers will meet outside the Elimatta Hotel (15 Victoria Parade, Devonport TAS) for pre-drinks and the official opening of the Games before the athlete’s march at 5:45pm down Victoria Parade to the heart of the food and wine festival at Roundhouse Park.
Gates will open to the public for the food and wine festival at 5pm and supporters and locals are encouraged to come down and celebrate with the athletes.
